About Aurora
Established in 2003, Aurora Private Equity Limited is one of Scotland’s leading business angel groups. Aurora raises funds for both emerging and established businesses to enable them to realise their growth potential.
Members of Aurora are private individuals who collectively make investments in the £50,000 to £500,000 range. Funds raised from our members are usually doubled through Aurora’s accredited partnership with the Scottish Co-Investment Fund.
Collaboration
Collaboration with other angel groups throughout Scotland enables us to further increase total funds raised.
Aurora is keen to attract new business proposals from entrepreneurial companies. We also welcome enquiries from individuals who are interested in becoming members of Aurora.
Corporate structure
Aurora Private Equity Limited is a private not-for-profit company limited by guarantee. Its members are drawn from a wide range of business sectors including oil and gas, engineering, biotech, IT and communications, commerce and the professions.
Aurora has a formally constitued Board of Directors drawn from its members and has appointed EquityWorks Ltd as Managing Agent to administer its day to day affairs.
